The Speaker’s Tool Box Consulting (1 hour) – Limit 1 per client
This is ideal for a client looking to address something specific about their speaking, presenting or speech. It could also be used to analyze and assess sample video (online or offline). This would be particularly good for individuals doing or planning on doing Facebook live, video blogs, or other video segments. Lastly it is a tremendous opportunity to determine if my coaching style is a suitable match for your needs.
The Speaker’s Tool Box Coaching Package (4 sessions)
The first session will be dedicated to identifying the client’s strengths, areas for improvement and ultimate goals. This session will also be used to define the craft of speaking and explain the many tools that are available and how they can be used to become a more confident, engaging and effective speaker. To facilitate this session a coaching workbook (PDF) will be provided. This first session will be 1.5 to 2 hours.
A copy of my latest book, The Speaker’s Tool Box – Perfecting the Craft of Speaking will be mailed to you as soon as your payment is received.
The remaining three sessions will be dedicated to doing. A typical session could include (but is not limited to)
- 1-2 impromptu speeches to develop and refine client’s ability to think in the moment.
- Develop, edit and refine your speech. Client provides the content
- 2-3 deliveries of your speech. Time will be allocated to do joint reviews of each presentation.
- Any other topic or aspect, related to the program, that I, or the client, may identify
- These sessions will be 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on focus.
- Each session will be captured on video and provided to the client within 24 hours of the session.
- All sessions will be done using ZOOM video conferencing.
- Support between sessions via email and messaging.
- Sharing of ongoing research on topics related to public speaking and presenting.
The Speaker’s Tool Box Coaching Package (6 sessions) – Best Value
This package provides all the components described in the 4 sessions package. It includes two extra sessions (up to 3 hours) for less than the cost of one hour of coaching.
This package is ideal for clients who want to achieve maximum benefit from their coaching experience. The two extra coaching sessions will allow for a much deeper dive on topics and challenges that the client is experiencing.
Additional hours can be purchased on an ad-hoc basis or can be an effective addition to any of the three options defined above and can be used to continue to build your expertise, develop your speaking style and/or evolve your speeches/presentations. Or any aspect of speaking that the client would like to focus on.
I recommend that the coaching sessions and the hourly coaching be scheduled 1-2 weeks apart to ensure maximum benefit.
The prime criteria for success are commitment to the program and willingness to do the work necessary to develop your speaking style and evolve your communication effectiveness.
